Heads of Delegations for Chengdu 2021 FISU World University Games to meet end of March

No less than 136 national or regional university sports federations have received invitations to attend the Head of Delegations (HoD) meeting scheduled end of March in preparation of the Chengdu 2021 FISU World University Games (28 July-8 August 2023.

Delegations and representatives from all around the world will gather in the Chinese city and visit the 46 competition venues, listen to the Organising Committee reporting on the preparatory work, and dine at the athletes’ restaurant at the Chengdu 2021 FISU Games Village.

The delegations will also experience the unique culture of Chengdu through a one-day trip organised at the end of their visit.

The HoD Spring Meeting will undoubtedly serve as an important platform to share information and answer questions before the official opening of the Chengdu 2021 FISU World University Games, on 28 July. 2023.

Twelve years after the Shenzhen 2011 Summer Universiade, Chengdu will be the third city in the Chinese mainland to host a summer edition of the Games.
