BRUSSELS – Yesterday, February 2nd, 2012, the Director of the Summer Universiade, Marc Vandenplas and his Sport Assistant, Melanie Stallecker, welcomed the newly-elected CTI Chair,John Warnock and his two Vice Chairs Adam Roczek and Mauro Nasciutti for a one day working session inBrussels.
Topics of discussion included the clarification and definition of communication channels between the CTI Chair, the CTI Vice Chairs, FISU as well as current and future Organizing Committees and the distribution of adequate responsibilities. Further, the CTI delegates were given a detailed update on the preparations of the 27th Summer Universiade in Kazan, 2013, discussing the agenda proposal for the 2nd CTI Inspection Visit to be held in April, 2012.
The meeting additionally served to review the sports technical regulations for Kazan and to discuss media-related needs and requirements for the Universiade.
