The Jury
An agreement was made between the OC of the 2009 Summer Universiade in Belgrade and the OC of the 2013 Summer Universiade in Kazan, regarding the organization of a volunteers exchange program for 150 volunteers from the Republic of Tatarstan, Russia. From May 26th to 27th, 2009 the Second Selection Contest was held in Kazan among more than 700 applicants to be the volunteers during XXV Summer Universiade 2009.
The Jury was chaired by Mr. Marat BARIEV, Minister of Youth, Sport and Tourism of Tatarstan and Member of the OC, and consisted of the representatives from the Kazan City Administration, Ministry of Sport, psychologists, linguists and representatives from social institutes. The first lap of this contest was held from May 6th to 20th, 2009, during which the applicants were to complete the Application form on the website of the 2013 Universiade and send it to the 2013 SU OC. The final list of 150 volunteers will be formed on June 1st, 2009 and be sent to the OC of UB 2009.
