Representatives from all Continental University Sports Federations met with FISU's top management after the Östersund 2026 FISU World Forum in Sweden.

FISU and the Continental University Sports Federations (CUSFs) met on 29-30 August for their annual seminar, reaffirming their shared commitment to strengthening university sport worldwide.

“Following the success of the FISU World Forum, we come together around the true core of our movement, the Continental University Sports Federations. By listening, adapting and working with flexibility, we can empower every region to flourish and elevate university sport across the globe,” said FISU Secretary General and CEO Matthias Remund.

Held in a spirit of collaboration and open dialogue, the seminar focused on advancing FISU’s strategic pillars of sport, education, development, sustainability and resources, while strengthening communications and digital innovation.

The meeting concluded with updates from the CUSFs on ongoing and upcoming projects and initiatives, with all participants reaffirming their commitment to working together to advance university sport.
