Since the opening game on Saturday 20 June, all delegations have played three days of super intense handball and have enjoyed every minute of the event, on and off the field of play.



From the minute the participants all met at the opening ceremony, the fair-play, energy and friendship they have shown has made the university sport movement proud.
Opponents during the games – as you know handball can offer quite a lot of contacts! – but student-athletes forging friendships and sharing common experiences as soon as the referee blows the whistle.
A short break, then the quarter finals
Wednesday 24 June is rest day in Pessac, a region currently experience an important heatwave. Luckily the sports venues are air-conditioned, but the competition schedules have been adapted nonetheless.

From Thursday 25 June, the race for these trophies is on as the quarters, semis and finals are scheduled for the end of this thrilling week.
The first two women’s quarterfinals are scheduled at 13h30, the following two at 18h. The men will start at 15h45 and close the day at 20h15.
