The History of Sport Climbing in FISU
2013 marked the acceptance by FISU of the introduction of a new very spectacular sport in its programme: Sport Climbing. With its three disciplines, boulder, lead and speed, Sport Climbing is one of the growing sports and one of the most practiced in universities. The first ever World University Sport Climbing Championship took place in Shanghai (CHN) in 2016.
