Winter Universiade 2021 signs gold partnership with Emil Frey Ltd

Lucerne 2021 organisers today signed an official partner for cars and commercial vehicles for Winter Universiade 2021. The Emil Frey Ltd automobile dealership has a rich tradition in winter sports, and one it extends with a Gold Partnership – the event’s highest sponsorship category

LUCERNE – It’s official, athletes and officials of the 30th Winter Universiade will be traveling around Central Switzerland in style as event organisers signed Emil Frey Ltd as the official partner for cars and commercial vehicles of the Lucerne 2021 Winter Universiade.

The automobile dealership is the first official Gold Partner,  the event's highest sponsoring category, with the sponsor providing over 250 cars and commercial vehicles to the premier international university winter sports event.

Hertz, the car rental company belonging to the Emil Frey Group, will be in charge of the supply among the vast choice of cars from the brands of the Emil Frey Group: Toyota, Subaru, Mitsubishi, Kia, Suzuki and Jaguar Land Rover. More than 125 models are available in Hertz that customers can pick up from the 50 sites across Switzerland.

Winter Universiade 2021 managing director Urs Hunkeler was understandably upbeat with the news: “We are very pleased with this partnership agreement. Emil Frey Ltd is an experienced mobility partner closely involved with sport in Switzerland and the active support of athletes.”
