President Killian: 'Harbin is A Success!'

Today, February 27th, a day prior to the Closing Ceremony of the 24th Winter Universiade in Harbin, China, FISU traditionally held its closing press conference together with the Harbin Organizing Committee.

FISU President Killian was very satisfied with the Games. ‘Well organized, these Games were a great success', Mr. Killian said. ‘We had 9 Universiade Records broken. Records only get broken in top notch venues and that was what the athletes had to their disposal her in Harbin, Yabuli and Maoershan.'

A total of 2,366 participants from 44 countries participated in the Games.
