GWANGJU – The 2015 Gwangju Summer Universiade Organizing Committee (GUOC 2015) opened a promotional house at the Incheon Asiad Main Stadium on 19 September and is currently busy at promoting to those visiting the venue.

The Gwangju Universiade House will operate until the end of the Incheon Asian Games and focus on promoting the Gwangju Universiade, being held next July, as well as the host city Gwangju.

The house contains information on the 70 competition and training venues, Athletes’ Village, sports programme, emblem and mascot, educational programmes, and cultural events, along with sporty images to promote the multi-sporting event.

Spectators visit the Gwangju Universiade house, which opened on Sept.19th and will be operating until Oct.4th

The images of Gwangju Universiade promotional ambassadors Son Yeon-jae (rhythmic gymnast) and Suzy (K-pop star) on the walls of the house are catching the eye of by-passers. In the photo zone, images of other promotional ambassadors Ki Bo-bae (archer), who is participating in the Asian Games as a commentator for archery, and Yang Hak-sun (artistic gymnast) are available for visitors to take a commemorative photo.

Various events are also being held in front of the house, such as free-throw competition with Nuribi (the Gwangju Universiade mascot) and archery shooting.
