ANAPOLIS – The Bolivian women’s team had a surprising victory over New Zealand on Monday afternoon, at the International Gym Newton de Faria, in Anápolis. Dominating the game in the two halfs of the match, the Bolivian selection scored four goals and, only in the last seconds of the game, they left chances to the opposing team to score.

After a balanced first half without any goals, the women’s team of Mexico managed to finish the match scoring four times against Colombia.
The Brazilian women’s team went on the attack and won against Canada. The score of 16-0 revealed a very strong Brazilian team.
Russia defeated Germany during the first match in the men’s tournament of the 15th World University Futsal Championship in the International Gym Newton de Faria, in Anápolis. Even with a heavy marking in the first half, the Russian athletes scored three goals and the Germans made only one. In the second half, Russia scored three more goals and only allowed the Germans to score once more in the final moments of the game.

The Brazilian men’s team debuted in the championship with a victory against the team of Israel, beating the latter 10:0.
The third day of the 15th WUC Futsal was marked by many goals and even a dispute for the first place in groups. In the men’s tournament, the Czech Republic defeated New Zealand and France beat Portugal. In the women’s tournament, Russia and Portugal had a balanced game, but the Russians managed to win in the final seconds.
