FISU Student Ambassadors programme is a one-year programme for students aged between 18 and 25 years old, nominated by their National or Continental University Sport Federations.
After the 2-days training in September, candidates are appointed as FISU Student Ambassadors and are tasked with:
- Creating individual action plan
- Planning and delivering a relevant and specific activity, together with their NUSF or CUSF
- Supporting the development of University Sport in their home country and/or continent
Among others, the role of the FISU Students Ambassadors includes acknowledging the importance of University Sports as a tool for promoting peace, cohesion and unity, to give visibility to FISU, and further encourage all students to be actively involved in sports and volunteering activities while simultaneously promoting FISU Healthy Campus, gender equality and tolerance.
