Student-athletes from 18 countries will run, jump, hang and aim over four days to be crowned best university pentathletes in the world.
The Madrid 2026 FISU World University Championship Modern Pentathlon will take place in Spain from 16 to 19 August 2026, bringing together the new generation of university pentathletes in one of the most vibrant sports stadiums in the world.
Over four days of intense competition, athletes will test their limits in obstacles (OCR) and laser racing, disciplines that require precision, endurance, discipline, and composure under pressure.
The Madrid 2026 FISU World University Championship Modern Pentathlon will take place from 16-19 August.

The university
The Championship will be held at the University Camilo José Cela (UCJC), on its Villafranca Campus.
