Brazil take on Portugal in both futsal finals

Both Brazil’s and Portugal’s women’s teams qualified easily for the final, winning respectively 4-0 against Poland and 3-0 against Germany

Portugal and Brazil definitely gave a super strong impression throughout the women’s competition, remaining undefeated up into the final, which will definitely showcase the very best of women’s university futsal.

“We’re very happy with the group stage”, said Portugal’s Margarida Cavalho. “Now we have to focus on the next match.”

Hosts Poland will face Germany for the bronze medal, they both were runners-up in the group stage behind the finalists, so the logic is respected.

Same finalists in the men’s tournament

The two finalists already met once in Group B and… drew 1-1, which is the only points they lost so far. In the final for gold, there will have to be a winner. The fight will be super tight!

The biggest disappointment is probably Slovakia’s, who remained undefeated in group D but lost 7-2 to Czechia in their quarter-final game.
