Both parties signed a Memorandum of Understanding in Cairo which focuses on the design, delivery and promotion of postgraduate education in sport management.
In its continued efforts to deepen higher education partnerships and relationships, the International University Sport Federation (FISU) and the British University in Egypt (BUE) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in Cairo establishing a strong institutional partnership focused on the design, delivery and promotion of postgraduate education in sport management.


In Cairo, the signing ceremony took place at the offices of the Ministry for Higher Education and Scientific Research between BUE President Mohamed Loutfi (right), and FISU President Leonz Eder (second from left) and witnessed by the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research of the Arab Republic of Egypt, His Excellency, Prof. Dr. Abdelaziz Konsowa (centre); President – Federation of African University Sport (FASU), Dr. Ashraf Sobhy (left); President of the Association of African Sports Confederations, General Ahmed Nasser; FISU Director Sustainability and FISU Master, Delise O’Meally, along with a visiting delegation from Cardiff Metropolitan University, and other guests.
BUE will serve as a regional partner, developing programming in the African continent and the member states of the League of Arab States.
