AARHUS – On 2 April FISU President Oleg Matytsin and Secretary General Eric Saintrond arrived in the city of Aarhus, Denmark, to take part in the annual SportAccord Convention, the main interaction platform for international sports.
FISU has cooperated with Taipei 2017 Summer Universiade and Krasnoyarsk 2019 Winter Universiade Organising Committees to share a stand at the SportAccord Exhibition, which will officially start on 4 April.

3rd April was a day of working meetings for FISU, allowing Mr Matytsin and Mr Saintrond to discuss the preparation to the upcoming Summer Universiade in Taipei with Dr Ching-Kuo Wu, AIBA President and a long-term IOC member. The meeting also gave an opportunity to talk about 2018 World University Boxing Championship in Elista, Russia.
Working meetings have also been held with representatives of cities interested in hosting FISU events as well as ISF delegates.
