LAUSANNE – On Thursday 8 September, FISU has signed Qiaodan Sports as its exclusive sports gear supplier
The four-year partnership will see the Chinese athletic apparel company provide uniforms for the FISU Family. The company has a strategic record of partnering with university sports organisations, having signed a previous deal with FISU for the 3×3 Basketball World University League, and with the China University Sports Association. Furthermore Qiaodan Sports has sponsored both the Chinese and Russian delegations at a number of Universiades.

Qiaodan Sports is also a familiar brand within the wider Olympic Movement having signed partnerships with the National Olympic Committees of Mongolia, Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan between 2009 and 2010, raising the brand’s profile through these nations’ participation at the Asian Games and the Olympic Games.
FISU’s deal with Qiaodan Sports comes as the federation is in the process of developing a new FISU Strategy that will comprise strategic goals for the next 10 years across all areas, especially its commercial operations, marketing and communications activities and in the development of the Games concept at both Universiades and World University Championships.
