President Killian visits the Village Restaurant

SHENZHEN – Today, August 8th, FISU President George E. Killian visited the Athletes’ Village. After touring the impressive Village with an electric car – which brings the athletes to their buildings or the restaurant – Mr. Killian had lunch in the Village restaurant. One of the international cooks informed him how the restaurant was organized.

After his lunch, the FISU President chatted with some of the student-athletes and volunteers and then visited the accreditation center, where he was welcomed by Omar Al Hai, the Chair of the FISU International Control Committee (CIC) which controls the student status of the athletes before granting them accreditation.

Mr. Killian was quite impressed with the lay-out of the Village.
