The ODUPA Executive Committee
The Executive Committee meeting of ODUPA, the FISU Associate member of the American continent, came to an end on March 7th. The ODUPA board is grateful to the Peruvian NUSF, FEDUP, which hosted the meeting in Lima in the most optimal conditions.
Five work sessions took place during the EC meeting in which development projects were discussed: sporting, academic and communications events. Working commitees were defined to elaborate on the protocols of different topics and ODUPA representatives were appointed to develop the different activities in the planned events for 2010. Most importantly and as first tangible result of the development program ‘OIKOS’, the ODUPA EC approved the mission of the organization, i.e. ‘to contribute from the American University community to develop citizens of the world through sport’.
