FISU meets CUSF Representatives in Taipei

TAIPEI CITY – FISU CDSU Chair Leonz Eder together with Laurent Briel, Director for Development and NUSF Relations and Assistant Nicole Mangelschots met with the representatives from the five Continental University Sports Federations, namely EUSA President Adam Roczek and Secretary General Matjaz Pecovnik, FISU America President Alim Aluf Neto, FISU Oceania President Martin Doulton, FASU Representative Liberty Maizda and AUSF representative Shen Zhen for their regular session.

 

Topics such as the FISU support to the CUSF projects 2018, the accreditation system, the signature of the MoU’s between the CUSF and FISU, and the presentation of the remaining CUSF events 2017 were on the agenda and deeply discussed.

 

The CUSF’s as associated members of FISU are important pillars for the development of University sports worldwide. Besides of their own programmes and event calendars the CUSF are very important stakeholders and supporters for FISU initiatives such as IDUS or the FISU World University 3×3 and Football Cup. The Strategic dialogues and FISU NUSF seminars also help to better understand the needs of all partners and to coordinate common actions.

 

Leonz Eder thanked the CUSF Presidents and Representatives for their continuous and efficient involvement in the FISU and the FISU staff for the great job.
