FISU 10 February 2021

The French University Sports Federation (FFSU) has a new leader after Mr Cedric Terret was appointed as the new President of the association.

In an elective General Assembly that took place via video conference earlier this week, a new Federal Steering Committee, composed of 24 elected members including 10 women (12 students, 12 non-students) and three ex-officio members was elected for the following 2021-2024 mandate.

On the proposal of the Management Committee and with 83.67% of the vote, the General Assembly then elected Terret as the President of FFSU.

Currently the Deputy Director of the UFR STAPS of the University of Bordeaux, Terret is a holder of a Master 2 Business Management from IAE Nantes, and also graduated with a Masters in Organisational Sociology from the University of Bordeaux.

He has been President of the New Aquitaine University Sports League since November 2020, a member of the Steering Committee of the Sports Association of University of Bordeaux since 2014 and has been head of the Bordeaux University Judo Center since 2017.

FISU congratulates Mr Terret on his new appointment, and wish him and his new board all the very best in their future endeavours.
