Following the announcement of the new FISU identity earlier this year and the executive decision to rename the FISU Universiade as the FISU World University Games, a detailed naming system is being shared with all of FISU’s national and continental member associations.
In addition to the final nomenclature of the flagship FISU events – the winter and summer editions of the FISU World University Games – the detailed naming system also defines the official title for all other FISU events and programmes.

The recently developed FISU Brand Book, which regulates all aspects concerning the use of the FISU logo and its application, will also be shared with the continental and National University Sports Federations (NUSFs) to ensure a cohesive global image across for FISU and its members.
The FISU Marketing team will also organise an online presentation to all NUSFs for deeper explanations of these documents.
With this final step in the rebranding process, FISU aims to unify and systemise all international organisations related to the university sports movement, so that it will be presented as one strong and well-developed brand.
