BUCS Chairman Ed Smith LONDON – In November last year, BUCS, the FISU Member Association of the United Kingdom of Great Britain & Northern Ireland, already announced it was going to sign the ‘Brighton Declaration in agreement with FISU and the International Working Group on Women and Sport.
The Brighton Declaration provides principles to guide action intended to increase the involvement of women in sport at all levels and in all functions and roles.
BUCS Chairman Ed Smith recently formally signed the Declaration at the BUCS Executive Board meeting in London.
