29th SELL Games coming up in Riga

RIGA - The 29th edition of the SELL Student Games will be take place in Riga, the capital of Latvia between 24 and 26 May 2013.

The SELL Student Games are a multi-sport event that is open for all university and college students from all over the world. The name of these games is made up by the first letters of the hosting countries – Finland, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania in their respective languages. The principles of the games are that everyone can participate and therefore the event combines top sports with a joyful student event. Nowadays the games gather around 1,800 to 2,000 students.

The SELL Games are held under the patronage of the International University Sports Federation (FISU) and the European University Sports Association (EUSA).

The XXIX SELL Games motto is ‘Student, Emotions, Lifestyle, Love’.
