2015 SU Update: Bringing the Fever from the Honam International Marathon to the Universiade

GWANGJU - Twenty three members of the Gwangju Universiade team participated in the 8th Honam International Marathon on April 17th. Despite being the Universiade team’s fittest members, all were rookie runners, but they all managed to complete the 5-km section of the course, whilst also again committing to making the 2015 Gwangju Universiade a success.

“We took part to let people know about the coming Universiade”, explained one of the Universiade runners. “The Universiade will be attended by 20,000 students from 170 countries, so we wish to generate people’s interest in it, and use it as a stage to show the world our region’s talent and culture.”
