2013 WU Update: Working Visit in Trentino

TRENTINO – On July 23rd, only 10 days after the last working visit in Trentino, FISU delegates Milan AUGUSTIN, Director WU; Kole GJELOSHAJ, Director of Educational Services; Laurent BRIEL, Director of Development and Jiho KIM, Assistant to WU have met with members of the Organizing Committee of the 2013 Winter Universiade in Trento. The focus of this working visit was Accrediation and Protocol.

A meeting chaired by OC President Sergio Anesi

Together with Stefano RAVELLI, Head of Accreditation the delegates visited the Mountain area in Val di Fiemme, Moena and Val di Fassa to search, in cooperation with the OC representatives, the most suitable location for the different Accreditation centers and Medal Plaza.

The delegates furthermore discussed sport technical issues with Sergio ANESI, OC President; Filippo BAZZANELLA, OC Secretary General; Andro FERRARI, OC WU Sports Coordinator and Val di Fiemme specialists Giacomo BONINSEGNA, Venue Manager of Cross Country stadium Lago di Tesero; Ciro TOMASI, Chief of stadium for Cross Country Skiing; Giuseppe BRIGADOI, Race Director Cross Country Skiing together with Ubaldo PRUCKER, Technical advisor for biathlon for preparing the draft of the competition schedule to accommodate Cross Country Skiing, Biathlon and Nordic Combined in Lago di Tesero. The very productive discussion ended with a tangible solution of the sports concerned. This draft will be finalized in February 26-28, 2013 when the 2nd CTI meeting will be held in Trento.
