Microplus and FISU sign long-term cooperation

FISU 29 November 2022

Microplus will be the official provider of Data Processing and Timing services for the Lake Placid 2023 FISU World University Games.

Mauro Cedrani, Microplus CEO, and Éric Saintrond, FISU Secretary General and CEO, have signed the contract of sponsorship at FISU headquarters in Lausanne.

The agreement includes exclusive visibility for TV credits at the winter edition of the FISU Games next year.

It extends a partnership launched in 2019 at the Universiades of Krasnoyarsk and Naples. It also paves the road for a longer cooperation between Microplus and FISU that will bring value to stakeholders such as National University Sport Federations and future organising committees of FISU events. The goal is to ensure quality service at below market costs.

“Following the renewal of its image and positioning as a brand, FISU has started a new phase of promoting and developing long-term partnerships that can give additional support to organising committees of its events,” said FISU Marketing Director Christian Monzani.

“The partnership with Microplus is the first important example of this approach. We thank them for sharing with FISU their business goals and for the commitment, support and seriousness of the services they provide,” he added.

“Microplus is proud to have given its sponsorship contribution to the Lake Placid 2023 FISU World University Games’ Save Winter campaign aiming to help and find possible solutions to climate changes that sadly afflict all countries worldwide,” the company wrote on its Facebook page.
