Ahead of the Lucerne 2021 Winter Universiade, the FISU Steering Committee was held today in Lucerne to discuss strategic decisions. The agenda of the meeting included the upcoming FISU World University Games, updates on the FISU Healthy Campus programme, the Lucerne 2021 FISU World Conference and the Costa Rica 2022 FISU World Forum.
The meeting took place one day before, the Head of Delegations (HoD) meeting is scheduled to begin. The HoD meeting will take place on 7-10 September in Lucerne, where delegations will visit various venues ahead of the Games in December.
The organisation of the Lucerne 2021 Winter Universiade is going full steam ahead with these visits and meetings, as this edition of the Winter Universiade promises to be memorable as it has been more than two years since the last Universiade in Naples, in 2019.
