University Football League sees Light in Uganda

ENTEBBE The NUSF of Uganda kicks off its 1st edition of the University Football League. The League features teams of six universities that will play on a home and away game basis.

The Universities that will vie in this league include Nkumba, Kyambogo, Mubs, Makerere University, Uganda Martyrs and Kampala International University that will share ugx 20M prize money according to their respective final finishing positions.

In the season opener, Nkumba pocketed its first three points claiming a victory at Makerere University Business School (MUBS).

The league is sponsored by the trio Ugandan companies of Pepsi, Rwenzori Mineral water and former Super league side sponsor Nile Special.
