FISU Education Committee meets in Brussels

BRUSSELS - The FISU Education Committee met in Brussels from 4 to 6 October at the FIDSU Headquarters. The purpose of this meeting was to prepare for future events, make changes to the regulations for educational events and develop new projects.

The Conference of the Trento Universiade to be held on 9 and 10 December, prior to the 2013 Winter Universiade, is the next educational event organized by FISU. It will be held in Rovereto and has as main theme ‘Sport and Innovation’. The report submitted by Alison Odell, Chair of the Committee after the meeting she had with the University of Trento on 26 and 27 September, focused on the awareness campaign developed by the OC to promote the Conference and ensure the presence of major quality speakers to contribute to the signing of a joint statement on this topic. Mrs. Odell took the opportunity to confirm the presence of the Committee members and their specific role.
