The deadline for host city applications is currently opened and has an extended window of entry until 30 November 30 for organisers looking to host the Football and 3X3 Basketball leagues, and the FISU America Forum, centered on the theme of “The university sports industry”.

“The strategic dialogue was a great success,” FISU America President Alim Maluf Neto said after two days of discussions and conferences. “The strategic dialogue was a great success. We managed to fulfill all the objectives we had planned, having a very close contact with the FISU President to work on the global development plan for university sports.

The strategic dialogue brought together leaders of FISU, the FISU America continental association and national representatives from 14 countries

President Alim Maluf Neto added: “This was very important because presidents of national federations throughout America had the opportunity to have a very close dialogue on their demands and proposals. In addition to the participation of representatives of 14 countries of the continent, we were accompanied by rectors, sports representatives, presidents of Brazilian sports federations and athletes.”
