The International University Sports Federation (FISU) has announced Bornan Sports Technology as key Technology and Digital Data Partner across FISU events for the next two years.

Almost two years after deciding to join forces, the two companies are officially pursuing their collaboration to deliver a world class digital transformation to university sports.

Following the confirmation of this strategic partnership, Bornan will deliver an integrated suite of digital services across selected FISU events, including its FISU Games Management System (GMS), timing, scoring and results solutions, real-time statistics, TV graphics and commentator information platforms. Also, FISU will gain access to Bornan’s fully modular, AWS certified cloud ecosystem covering registration, accreditation, volunteer management, event operations, results delivery and more. Bornan will also contribute advanced tools that enhance the live sports narrative, including Full HD and UHD broadcast graphics and real-time data visualisation.

Global reach and deep sector-specific expertise

Bornan, founded in 2017, rapidly established itself as a key actor in sports digitalisation, collaborating with major international events such as the Asian Games, the Saudi Games, the Pan American Youth Games as well as international sports federations. With offices in Spain, Switzerland and Qatar and a team of nearly 200 technology specialists, the company combines global reach with deep sector-specific expertise.

“Pursuing our partnership with Bornan reinforces our commitment to shaping the future of university sport through innovation”, commented FISU President, Leonz Eder. “Their proven expertise in managing the technological backbone of major international events will support our strategic transformation and ensure that FISU competitions remain dynamic, modern and globally accessible.”

“University sport is the proving ground where the talent of the future is forged, and at Bornan Sports Technology, we share that same drive for excellence. Continuing as FISU’s global technology partner allows us to apply our innovation where it has the greatest impact, the meaningful digitalisation of competition. We do more than just manage events; we are transforming how the world engages with university sports, making FISU’s vision more tangible and global than ever before” said Eva María Córdoba, Chief Executive Officer of Bornan Sports Technology.

This announcement reflects FISU’s strategic ambition to build a comprehensive digital framework that enhances the accuracy, reliability and efficiency of event operations, while also unlocking new opportunities in digital storytelling, live engagement and data-driven performance insights — reinforcing the federation’s position as a leader in innovation across the global university sports movement.
