For the Université Côte d'Azur, the 200th university to join FISU's Healthy Campus Programme, students' well being is key.

Following the registration of Western Sydney University – ranked #1 in the Times Higher Education Impact Rankings – as the 196th member of the FISU Healthy Campus Programme, six additional institutions have since joined, bringing the total number of participating universities to 202.

A significant milestone was reached with the 200th registration, achieved by Université Côte d’Azur (France). Just before and after this symbolic mark, the following universities joined the Programme:

  • #197 – Australian National University (Australia)
  • #198 – Universidade da Beira Interior (Portugal)
  • #199 – University of Nottingham Ningbo China (China)
  • #200 – Université Côte d’Azur (France)
  • #201 – Victoria University (Australia)
  • #202 – Armenian State University of Economics (Armenia)

To date, 108 universities from 47 countries have been certified under the FISU Healthy Campus Programme, reflecting its strong and diverse global community.

The new members

Australian National University (Australia) – A world-leading research university based in Canberra, founded in 1946. It is renowned for academic excellence, global engagement, and strategic innovation in higher education. anu.edu.au

Universidade da Beira Interior (Portugal) – A public institution located in Covilhã, created in 1979, offering a broad range of undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral programmes across five faculties. UBI is strongly committed to regional development and internationalisation. ubi.pt

University of Nottingham Ningbo China (China) – Established in 2004 as the first Sino-foreign cooperative university with independent legal status, UNNC delivers English-taught degrees awarded by the University of Nottingham and fosters an international academic community. nottingham.edu.cn

Université Côte d’Azur (France) – A public research university located in Nice and the Alpes-Maritimes region, with over 33,000 students. It stands out for its interdisciplinary innovation, international research, and vibrant environment across multiple campuses on the French Riviera. Université Côte d’Azur

Victoria University (Australia) – A dual-sector public university in Melbourne offering both vocational (TAFE) and higher education. Ranked among the top 2% of universities worldwide, VU is recognised for its inclusive approach, strong industry partnerships, and innovative teaching methods. vu.edu.au

Armenian State University of Economics (Armenia) – Based in Yerevan, originally founded in 1930 and reconstituted in 1975, ASUE is the largest economic university in Armenia. The programme focuses on six key domains: Physical Activity and Sport, Mental and Social Health, Nutrition, Disease Prevention, Risk Behaviour, Environment, Sustainability, and Social Responsibility
