As we prepare for the next FISU World University Championships season, we are pleased to share the official 2026 FISU Championships calendar. The dates indicated refer to the competition period and the delegations should plan to arrive at least two days before and depart one day after those dates.
You will soon find more information on each FISU World University Championship on their dedicated page on fisu.net. Event websites will also be launched in the coming months to provide additional information regarding services, regulations, competition programmes, and much more.

Some events are still pending final date confirmation (TBD in the above list). In some cases, this is due to ongoing discussions with the Organising Committees, and in others, due to the need to align with the International Federations’ calendars. Nonetheless, it is important to share the available information now to support National University Sport Federations’ initial planning. Updates will be provided as soon as the full calendar is confirmed.
Additionally, three events – golf, powerlifting, and sailing – have not yet been officially confirmed. FISU is actively working with potential hosts and the respective International Federations and expects to finalise these attributions in the coming months.
