“I am very pleased that the CDSU is composed of such motivated, experienced and committed members,” said Leonz Eder, FISU First Vice-President and CDSU Chair.

“With their professional and constructive input, Penninah Kabenge (UGA), Laura Yan (CHN), Gilles Lepine (CAN) and Maxim Urazov (RUS) showed in this first meeting that their experience at national, continental and also global level is of great benefit for FISU and its further development.”

“Furthermore, they showed a high willingness to take on tasks in the area of strategy implementation, in the further development of the help programme and also in the evaluation of CUSF and NUSF projects.”

Before the meeting, all members were requested to work on specific questions about the Help Programme 2021 in order to improve the programme. Continental University Sports Federation (CUSF) and national (NUSF) projects were also discussed.

“Possibly the most dynamic virtual meeting I have attended,” said Penninah Aligawesa Kabenge, FISU Vice President and CDSU Vice-Chair. The meeting was well organised and productive, in a friendly atmosphere. It gave me the impression that we are a collaborative team destined to accomplish great things.”
