FISU VP Luciano Cabral re-elected President of CBDU

MACEIO – Last Friday, 31 March, the Brazilian University Sports Confederation (CBDU) held the election for the next CBDU presidency. The party Legacy and Promotion, led by the current president, Luciano Cabral, was elected by acclamation and will lead CBDU for the period 2017/2021. The Vice Executive President Alim Maluf Neto is also part of the directive board.

After the election, Luciano Cabral thanked the directors, presidents and employees of the Confederation. “CBDU represents all the people who work in its management. I am grateful for the partnership, trust and friendship built up over the years.”

 

The voting took place during the Ordinary General Assembly in Maceió, capital of Alagoas, and brought together the 27 presidents of the University Federations in Brazil. During the meeting, the Directive Board presented the rendering of accounts, and the technical, events and communication and marketing areas reports of the Confederation.
