LILLE – On 30 June, 2016, the 3rd meeting of China-France High-Level People-to-People Exchange kicked off in Paris, which was co-chaired by Chinese Vice-Premier Liu Yandong and French Foreign Minister Jean-Marc Ayrault. Senior authorities in education, culture, health, science and technology, women, sports and youth sectors from both countries met on this occasion. As one of the important outcomes during the meeting, FUSC, FFSU and CSC (China Scholarship Council) signed the MOU of a Study Programme for Chinese Winter Sports Coaches on Campus, witnessed by Madame Liu Yandong and Mr. Francois Weil, Envoy of French Minister of Education & Academic Rector of Paris.
Being one of the most important side events this time, the 2nd edition of China-France University Sports Week was successfully organized in Lille, with a China-France University Football Friendship Game in Stadium Lille Metropole on 1 July. Before the game, the signing ceremony between FUSC and FFSU on MOU of University Football Cooperation, and between FUSC, FFSU and CSC (China Scholarship Council) on MOU of the Study Programme for Chinese Coaches on Campus was conducted, during which Mr. Yang Liguo, FUSC Executive VP & Secretary-general, Mr. Jean Francois Sautereau, FFSU President and Mrs. Liu Jinghui, CSC Secretary-general respectively signed the MOUs witnessed by Mr. Adam Roczek, EUSA President; Mr. Xavier Vandendrissche, President of Lille 2 University; Mr José Savoye, Président of the Regional University Sport Committee; Mr. Yang bin, Executive VP of Beijing Institute of Technology, etc.
Later on, Mr. Adam Roczek, Mr. Yang Liguo, Mr. Jean Francois Sautereau and Mrs. Liu Jinghui were invited to the kick-off the 1st ball for the official match between Beijing Institute of Technology and Lille 2 University.
