BEIJING – The third meeting under China-France High Level People-to-people Exchange Mechanism will be held this June in France, which will be hosted by Chinese Vice-Premier Ms. LIU Yandong and France Foreign Minister Mr. Laurent Fabius. Invited by Federation of University Sports of China (FUSC), The French Federation of University Sports (FFSU) has paid a visit to China from 5 to 8 January, 2016 to discuss the 2016 China-France university sports exchanges. This will definitely encourage the people-to-people exchange and create a new era for China-France strategic cooperation comprehensively.

On 6 January, Mr. HAO Ping, Vice-Minister of Education officially met Mr. Jean-François Sautereau, President of FFSU and his colleagues. Mr. HAO Ping has spoken highly of the 2015 Chinese football-on-campus programme, extended great gratitude to the efforts made by FFSU and expected that both China and France could expand future cooperation and exchanges. Mr. Sautereau said “the football cooperation between the two countries will surely integrate, recognise and respect our cultures and values. It is a steady foundation for the future of the China-France cooperation and it is also what we are expecting.”

Then, the FFSU delegation was warmly received by Mr. ZHONG Bingshu, President of the Capital University of Physical Education and Sports, member of the FISU Education Committee, on its campus, followed by the China-France University Sports Conference, where two parties summarized the 2015 Football Coaches Study Programme and discussed about the things-to-do-list in 2016, when a China-France University Sports Week will be launched during the third meeting under the China-France High Level People-to-People Exchange Mechanism.
In the morning of 8 January, the FFSU delegation visited the FUSC headquarters and congratulated FUSC on its great achievements made in the past 40 years.
