AMERICAS – ODUPA, the Pan-American University Sports Organisation has revamped its digital platform, changing also its domain name into www.fisuamerica.org. This new website has a full responsive design that enables to use digital devices such as smart phones, tablets, e-books and computers.
¨We are extremely pleased to bring back this media of our Continental Organisation”, explains Rosaura Mendez, Treasurer and head of the commission communication and marketing of ODUPA. “It’s our intention to integrate and create information networks to strengthen the university sports community in the Pan-American region¨.
Parallel to the launch of this website, ODUPA worked on the renewal of contacts with the national sport organisations and developed a communication network with journalists from each of the member countries.
Also, in the month of August, ODUPA will begin to distribute its newsletter via e-mail that will be sent at the end of each month containing Pan-American University Sports related news.
Natasha Campos, the ODUPA Media Officer, asks all entities involved in university sport in the region, to constantly send information. The participation of each of the countries in this process is vital, to relate between communicators and creating strategies to promote university sport together is the next step to improve the message of the University Sport movement in the Pan-American region.
