HANNOVER – Executive Committee members and staff of the European University Sports Association (EUSA) visited the German city of Hannover between 28 and 31 May, 2015. A special reception and meeting with the participants was held on Friday by the Mayor of Hannover Mr Stefan Schostok. The EUSA Family, composed also by a few EUSA Technical Delegates, ADH representatives and university sport friends, was also welcomed by the President of the Leibniz University Hannover Mr Volker Epping. ADH President Mr Felix Arnold also greeted the EUSA participants, presenting key activities of the German University Sports Federation and the cooperation aims on international level.
The 2-day Executive Committee meeting took place in the New City Hall. The meeting started with the welcome of the hosts, the city and introductions of the local universities and ADH. The overview of EUSA activities was done by EUSA President Mr Adam Roczek and Secretary-General Mr Matjaz Pecovnik, followed by the financial report by the Treasurer Mr Olaf Tabor. Participants discussed EUSA Conferences and Meetings, reflecting on the 2015 EUSA Conference and Convention and looking into the future events.

The reports on the European Universities Championships 2015 and 2017 and on the European Universities Games 2016 and 2018 were presented next. The EUSA Board also approved the regulations for EUSA endorsed events and confirmed the bidding procedure for the 2020 European Universities Games, opening on 1 June, 2015.
Chairs and/or secretaries of respective commissions also presented their reports and updates, including the Student Commission, Media and Communications Commission, Finances and Marketing Commission, Medical Commission, Technical Commission and Equal Opportunities Commission. Also the update on dedicated projects, supported by FISU and the European Union was given at the meeting.

At the meeting the international cooperation with FISU, other continental organisations, EU, member associations (NUSA), partner organisations and other organisations and institutions were discussed. The participants were also given the opportunity to visit the local university sports center where they were also acquainted in more details with the upcoming EUC Rowing event, and also test their sporting skills.
The meeting was organised by the local hosts of the European Universities Rowing Championship, in cooperation with the German University Sports Federation (ADH), supported also by FISU and local partners.
