GWANGJU – On 29 April, all partners involved in the FISU Conference, to be held from 11 to 14 July in the framework of the 2015 Summer Universiade, met at Honam University in Gwangju. The meeting provided an opportunity to review all the final details of the preparation and, in particular, to review all the papers received so far. As many new papers are still being received, it was decided to extend the deadline to 13 May.
The number of participants in the Conference is expected to reach 600, to which Universiade participants need to be added. The FISU Conference is indeed open and free of charge to all participants registered for the Universiade, thus allowing many student-athletes to present papers and to take part in the parallel sessions. This is what makes the Summer Universiade Conference a unique place to debate about University Sport.
