BRUSSELS – The Chair of the Committee for the Development of University Sport (CDSU), Mr Stefan Bergh (SWE), met with the Vice-Chair, Ms Alison Odell (GBR), on 6 March at the FIDSU office in Brussels (BEL). The meeting was also attended by Mr Laurent Briel (BEL), Director Development and NUSF relations, Ms Nicole Mangelschots (BEL), Executive Assistant, and Westley Rolin (FRA), Development Assistant.
The main purpose of the meeting was to prepare the next Steering Committee meeting due to be held in Brussels on 20-21 March. The main topics discussed were the 2014 projects of the Continental University Sports Federations (CUSFs), the support scheme for the projects of the National University Sports Federations (NUSFs), the 2015 Summer Universiade Help Programme, the requests for FISU membership and the evaluation of the work of CDSU since 2012.
A follow-up on the audit report on the CUSF projects 2014 will be carried out before the next Executive Committee meeting due to be held in Gwangju (KOR) on 30 June and 1 July.
