ULAANBAATAR – The Mongolian Student Sports Federation (MSSF) has developed the website www.mssf.mn in cooperation with “The New Media” Group and with the support of FISU. An opening ceremony was held on 13 January at the Central Sports Palace. Delegations from the Ministry of Health and Sports, Ministry of Education, Culture and Science, National Olympic Committee, Executive Committee members of MSSF, representatives of sports federations, teachers and student-athletes from universities and colleges, and sports journalists attended the event.

One of the main objectives of the website is to promote university sport in Mongolia. It gives an overview of the history of the University Sports Movement and of the activities of FISU and of the Asian University Sports Federation (AUSF). It communicates on the events organised by MSSF in Mongolia. In order to be a comprehensive communication tool, it includes photo and video galleries and a news section. It also provides an online accreditation system and the regulations applicable to university sport. The website is also available in English to reach an international audience.
This project has been co-funded by FISU through its support scheme to NUSF projects, introduced in 2014. Thanks to the cooperation with public authorities, Mongolian university sports stakeholders and FISU, MSSF has developed a modern and relevant website.
