XIAMEN – On 21st December, FISU Secretary-General/CEO Eric Saintrond and Marketing Manager Stephane Mottaz paid a 2-day inspection visit to Xiamen, China for the World University 3 on 3 Basketball League which will be held in September 2015. Dr. XUE Yanqing, Vice-President of the Federation of University Sports of China (FUSC), and his dream team also came to Xiamen city.
After a work meeting with FUSC, the FISU delegates made an on-site inspection visit to the proposed competition venue, the basketball court on the Campus of Huaqiao University. The court is located in front of the beautiful scenery of Jimei University Town, which is one of the most beautiful tourist sightseeing places. In 2015, there will be 12 men’s and 12 women’s teams from about 16 different countries competing for FISU 3×3 Finals in Xiamen China. FUSC and the Xiamen local government, as well as the Huaqiao University paid great attention to the preparations of the FISU World University Basketball 3×3 League in 2015.
