TAIPEI CITY – On 6 November, the AUSF Executive Committee had its second meeting of 2014 in Taipei City, Chinese Taipei. The meeting was held in conjunction with the 5th Asian University Men’s Basketball Championship and AUSF Seminar. President ZHANG Xinsheng, Senior Vice-President Omar AL-HAI, Secretary-General Kenny CHOW, Vice-President CHEN Kunning, Vice Secretary-General XUE Yanqing, Assessors Preecha PRAYOONPAT, JARGALSAIKHAN Dorjsuren, Mahdi TALEBPOUR and Auditor HA Woong Yong were present at the meeting.
The meeting mainly focused on 3 topics. First, it was on AUSF Education and Development Center, which was the executive body of the Education Committee, assisting the Education Committee to carry out its duty. Meanwhile, it was agreed to recruit the members for the Education Committee. The nomination will be carried out by the Chair of each sub-region of AUSF and one person from one region will be nominated at the beginning, to guarantee the representation of whole Asia.

Secondly, it was on the Amendment of AUSF Constitution. With the high-speed development of AUSF, the EC members and the member federations realized the necessity to amend the constitution. In the following, a working group will be set up to collect the amendment proposals from member federations and then carefully study it.
