LAUSANNE – Today, 19 September, the FISU Media & Communication Committee met at the MSI in Lausanne, Switzerland. In attendance were Verena Burk (Chair), Damien Bardot (Member), Ekaterina Kucherenko (Member), Andrej Pisl (Member), Tomasz Szponder (Member), Natasha Campos Mendez (Member Student Committee) and FISU Staff members Dejan Susovic (FISU Media and Communication Director), Christian Pierre (FISU Press Officer), Yvan Dufour (FISU Chief Editor), Tatiana Stebakova (FISU Media Assistant), Yuan Ren (FISU Media Assistant) and Christophe Erhat (FISU Graphic Designer).
After a warm welcome by FISU SG/CEO Eric Saintrond, MCC Chair Verena Burk started the meeting. The MCC members and FISU Media Staff discussed a number of topics such as the FISU media platforms and social media channels, broadcasting, magazine, branding and visual guidelines as well as the Young Reporters’ Programme for the next Summer Universiade.
Tomorrow, 20 September, the MCC members will attend ‘Lausanne in Motion’, the event FISU hosts for the students and citizens of Lausanne.
