GUIMARAES – The 22nd World University Handball Championship 2014 will start today with the first competitions.
Republic of Korea, Japan and Brazil were the first teams arriving in Portugal and they were the first to practice at the sport hall and dealing also with the jetlag.
Poland and Korea will play the first match for the female tournament. In the male category, the opening match will take place on the same day between Spain and Japan.
