ANTEQUERA – Yesterday, Tuesday 15 July, the 14th World University Futsal Championship continued piloting the teams towards the quarter-finals. In the men’s competition, Spain maintains its leader position in Group A, Brazil has taken over the lead from Iran in Group B, while Russia and Portugal are topping Group C and D respectively. Defending champion Ukraine seems to be out of the quarter-finals.
In the women’s competition a second victory for Spain and Brazil already advances them to the semi-finals. Both are leading Group U and Group Z respectively.
