WU Participation Record Broken!

TRENTINO – Yesterday 16 December, the Winter Universiade participation record was broken! The previous record number of participation was set to 2,511 during the 2007 edition of the games in Torino, also in Italy. The new participation record set is 2,636. This number might still increase as there are five more days left before the end of the games.

So far the number of countries in Trentino reached 50. The country record was set in Erzurum, Turkey in 2011 at 52.
