LAUSANNE – Leonardo COIANA (ITA), Chair of the Committee for Sports Regulations (CRS), visited the FISU HQ in Lausanne to meet with FISU SG/CEO Eric SAINTROND and CRS Committee Members, Omar AL-HAI (UAE), Lawrence RINK (USA), Roger ROTH (SUI), Ian SMYTH (GBR) and John WARNOCK (GBR). The CRS meeting was also attended by FISU Directors for Summer Universiade (Marc VANDENPLAS) and Winter Universiade (Milan AUGUSTIN) as well as FISU staff members. The purpose of this two-day CRS meeting, held from 14 to 15 October, was to discuss updates in the FISU Sports Regulations after the 2013 Kazan Summer Universiade and prepare recommendations for the upcoming FISU Executive Committee meeting, which will take place from 8 to 9 November 2013 in Brussels, Belgium.
