City Events 2013 Will Reveal the Keys to the Future

18 September 2013

LAUSANNEThe positive impact of sporting events on a city, region and country is well established, but what will make events in the future more valuable, more sustainable and more innovative? The fourth edition of City Events, powered by GL Events and FISU, will focus on the theme of “Sporting Events in the Near Future” and this year’s event will be held in Lausanne, the Olympic Capital, from 13-15 November.

Public sector authorities (cities, regions, and countries), National and International Sport Federations, event organizers and numerous stakeholders from the world of sport will have the unique opportunity to share information, knowledge and experience with world class speakers.

Held on an annual basis, City Events is the only conference that connects host cities directly with International Federations and event organizers.

You can find the full programme here.

Many networking opportunities will be available during Networking Breaks and lunches. The Welcome Reception will take place on Wednesday evening where participants will have the opportunity to meet and talk with International Sport Federations, cities and stakeholders.

The complete speakers list will be unveiled in a couple of weeks, by then don’t hesitate to register on www.cityevents-sport.com or contact by phone: Christine De Charsonville, + 33(0)4 78 17 62 58.
